Paul Wojno for State Senate

Dear Friends:

I have been your neighbor in Warren and Center Line my whole life. My beautiful wife, Lisa, and I have been proud to raise our three children in this community. Growing up in Macomb County taught me the values that I live by today: Dedication to hard work, commitment to family and the importance of a good education.

I am running as a Democrat to be your next State Senator, as Steve Bieda will be leaving at the end of 2018 due to term limits. I know that I can carry on the hard work and community involvement that Steve has exemplified. I appreciate Steve’s endorsement of me to serve you as your next State Senator.

As Warren City Clerk for more than eight years, I successfully conducted 25 federal, state and local elections. Prior to this, I served the residents of Warren and Center Line for three terms as a Democratic State Representative from 1996 to 2002. I had the unique opportunity to serve during Republican control, Democratic control and shared control of the House. It was a time when legislators rolled up their sleeves and worked together to get things done for the people of Michigan.I look forward to bringing that same spirit back to Lansing as your State Senator.

In the State House, I always worked closely with local residents and neighborhood organizations to make change on the issues that matter most: Improving our public schools, protecting the elderly and making government more accountable to us. And that’s what I will always do in the State Senate.

As your next State Senator, I pledge to fight for the values that we all share to make sure everyone has the same opportunities here in Michigan that our parents worked so hard to create for all of us.

Warmest Regards,

Paul Wojno for State Senate
